HAMPSHIRE based marketing firm, IDS UK will be spreading the word about its services at the Institute of Fundraisers national convention next week.
Fundraisers from every aspect of the charity sector will be able to find out more about the information display stands that IDS UK manage throughout the country. Under the WIS umbrella, they have leaflet displays in 6,000 doctors surgeries nationwide and through the Help2Health service they now have stands in over 750 pharmacies.
For more than 10 years national charity, RNID has used the WIS service to reach out to deaf and hard-of-hearing patients and their families.
RNID Information and Publications Manager, Claire Wills, explained:
“For more than a decade we have been working with IDS UK through their WIS service. We have 150 stands in audiology departments across the UK and the service has been very well received. We are told by staff that patients do pick up the leaflets and the whole service of re-stocking is managed by IDS,” she said.
IDS UK Business Development Manager Sarah O'Reilly said that as well ensuring there was up-to-date information on RNID services in audiology departments, the charity had used 4000 poster sites, information stands in 6,000 doctors surgeries and 750 Help2Health racks in pharmacies.
“Our work with RNID is a great example of what can be achieved by working together. We understood who the charity wanted to engage with and were able to get their message across through our network of display stands and poster sites throughout the country,” she said.
Looking ahead to the Institute of Fundraisers Convention , Sarah said: “This is a great opportunity for us to show fundraisers how we can help them to achieve their aim.
“With new services such as Leaflets2U - an online leaflet ordering service for healthcare professionals – there has never been a better time for us to work with charities,” she said.
