A Successful First Year For Leaflets2u - August 09

AT the end of its first year, it's clear Leaflets2U has proved popular with healthcare professionals and is a major success.

Data gathered from users shows the on-line leaflet library is a valued resource that is easy to use and saves time.

What the healtchcare experts say

Healthcare workers liked the service so much that 98% said they would use it again – and a whopping 99% said they would recommend it to others.

Nurses working in the community and at busy GP surgeries can order the leaflets their patients need without having to find individual sites – its all under one virtual roof at L2U.

The user survey showed:

• 31% found the service easy to use
• 25% said it was simple to search
• 19% said there was lots of information
• 15% said it saved them time

Edward Pickering, Managing Director of IDS UK, said:

”This survey proves that we have got it right with L2U and it is a service that is valued by healthcare professionals.

“The aim was to create a one-stop library that healthcare professionals could peruse and order leaflets at the press of a key,” he said.

The survey revealed the wide variety of disciplines covered by health professionals ranging from blood pressure and wound care to diabetes and heart health.

The only change that users wanted was to build on the success of what exists already and provide even more choice.

Feedback from healthcare professionals was extremely positive and the following responses sum up their feelings on the service.
