A NEW value-for-money way for charities to get their message across to patients is being pioneered by Leaflets 2 U and welcomed by community healthcare professionals, as a unique innovative and much needed service that helps them and their patients obtain valuable information, easily, and at no cost – the online information request service developed by IDS UK.

Conscious of the budgetary restrictions that many charities face, IDS UK has set up its service so that charities only pay on results.

At the press of a button, any community healthcare professional can select the leaflets they want from the Leaflets 2 U website and they will be dispatched immediately.

This Leaflets 2 U ‘one stop shop approach’ means no more time consuming trawling the internet jungle to search for sites and information, time the healthcare professional simply cannot afford.

Business Development Manager Sarah O'Reilly explained: “We are aware that charities have limited resources but need to get their message out there. Leaflets 2 U offers a cost effective way to ensure leaflets are being read by patients who need the information.”

Inclusion on the Leaflets 2 U internet site, as well as fulfillment and distribution of up to 25,000 leaflets, costs only £3,800. Charities have to watch every penny they spend so Leaflets 2 U offers a ‘pay as you go’ service to third sector clients. Put simply, payment is only levied once the leaflets have been requested and dispatched. If leaflets don’t get requested, the charity won’t be charged.

“This means that payments can be spread over anything from a month to a year depending on how popular the leaflets are. Most customers choose to provide 25,000 leaflets on one subject, however, for no extra cost, a client could for example supply us with five lots of 5,000 leaflets covering five different subjects for the same £3,800 charge” said Mrs O'Reilly.
