Rollout of new Help2Health Service Begins - March 08250 pharmacists will be the first in the country to receive their fully stocked leaflet display stands as part of a UK wide initiative being rolled out by Help2Health from Tuesday, March 11.
Help2Health manager Sarah O'Reilly explained they were delighted that the first tranche of pharmacies had received their rotating leaflet display stands with leaflets supplied by the pharmaceutical industry, government and charities. “We have been bowled over by the level of interest shown by pharmacies so far and look forward to offering this service to even more pharmacies throughout the country,” she said. Under the new pharmacy contract in 2006, pharmacists were encouraged to promote a healthy lifestyle to their customers.

Nearly a quarter of pharmacists in the Help2Health pilot said the service prompted more Medicines Use Reviews and freed up at least one square metre of valuable retail space, previously taken up by leaflets.
